Here at Kelling Heath, there are always lots of interesting things to do.

We have plenty of pre-bookable family activities on offer during school holidays. From wildlife experts guiding you on our nature walks and rambles to getting active and learning new skills like fencing and archery. We have something for all ages and abilities.

Out of school holidays, there is still plenty to do through a range of self-guided activities and outdoor leisure options.

Family Nature Ramble & Wildlife at Dusk

Nature watching on Kelling Heath doesn’t just end during daylight hours. In the summer months we are incredibly lucky to be one of the few breeding sites for the elusive Nightjar in the UK. A bird seldom seen due to its dusk habits and a least 9 species of bat have been recorded by Carl (out of the UK’s total of 18 species) on the Park.

Family Orienteering
