OUTDOORS & ACORN CLUB ACTIVITIES

Monday 14th July to Saturday 30th August
Events that require pre-booking can be booked 9-10am in the Folly the day before they take place. After this time, if there are spaces left, events can be booked from reception.
Times of events will be available on arrival at Kelling Heath.

Saturdays
Afternoon: Acorn Club Welcome
Evening: Learn about bat behaviour and habitat followed by bat detecting by the pond

Sundays
Evening: Acorn Club Activity

Mondays
Morning: Acorn Club Pond Dipping
Afternoon: A walk to the bee hives with our Countryside Manager
Watercolour workshop for adults and children over 12’s
Evening: Woodland and Wildlife Walk

Tuesdays
All Day: Archery
Morning: An early start ‘rock-pooling’ at West Runton,
Afternoon: Doodle Pots
Evening: An early evening Acorn Club Craft/Activity Session
At dusk come bat detecting by the pond

Wednesdays
Morning: Art or Craft workshop with an emphasis on the under 12’s
Afternoon: Art or Craft workshop for adults and children over 12’s,
Tennis Coaching and
Birds, Butterflies and Dragonflies – a summer wildlife walk
Evening: Story Telling and a Nightjar and Heathland Wildlife Walk followed
into the night with Moth Trapping and Identification

Thursdays
Morning and Afternoon: Session of Bushcraft Survival with Jason Kidman.
Afternoon and Early Evening: Creative crafts from Alby Crafts
Evening: Learn and listen - Bat Detecting by the pond

Fridays
Morning: Medieval Heraldry in the marquee,
Pond Dipping for Acorn Club Members
Afternoon: Longbow skills for the over 12’s and Silk Painting creative workshop
Evening: Doodle Pots Make & Take
