Woodland or Cycle Trail
Feeling refreshed? Choose one of our woodland trails for a gentle walk, or hire a bike from our on-park cycle hire centre, Huff & Puff Cycles, to explore further afield on two wheels.
Kelling Heath is home to a variety of flora and fauna, and autumn is the perfect time to spot fungi, colourful foliage, and quite often, Muntjacs walking around.
Eat On Park or in a Nearby Village
Enjoy a relaxed lunch on-Park, or visit the Park’s Village Store to pack up a picnic for ease when off exploring. Just a few minutes away in the village of Weybourne, The Ship Inn, a traditional Norfolk pub is a lovely spot to stop. Both Sheringham and Holt are also a short drive away and offer a range of local cafés and eateries.
North Norfolk Railway or Weybourne Beach
If you’re looking to venture off-park, take a trip on a different mode of transport. Walk or take a short drive to Weybourne Station and hop aboard the North Norfolk Railway, a heritage steam line that connects Holt and Sheringham. Occasionally it stops at our own Halt – check North Norfolk Railway – The Poppy Line for timetables.
Or enjoy a brisk walk along Weybourne Beach, where the North Sea meets the shingle shore. It’s especially peaceful in autumn, and the coastal air is the perfect tonic.
