At Kelling, 100% of our waste avoids landfill.

The best way to achieve this is to prevent waste wherever possible.

Refuse packaging and bags you don’t need, re-use carrier bags, and only buy what you need. When in our Village Square, dispose of waste in the correct bin; this helps our waste contractor achieve even higher recycling rates.

Supporting local businesses helps to maintain North Norfolk’s unique character.

If you want something local to take home, try our ‘Naturally Norfolk’ section in the Village Store.

Give the car a rest – walk, cycle or hop on the bus! Some of the best views and sights are often seen away from the roads.

Why not give your car a rest and explore the countryside on foot, bike, or jump on the train that stops inside the park!

Help us look after our environment by taking litter with you, leaving gates as you find them, clearing up after your dog, and refraining from lighting fires.

Kelling Heath goes to considerable efforts to conserve energy and water!

Help us reduce energy consumption, light pollution, and CO2 emissions even further by switching off lights, taps and heating devices that are not in use.

We deliberately do not provide external lighting outside of the main areas. Doing so allows guest to enjoy the night skies in their purest form. This is why we suggest you bring a torch!
