Hours: 5 days from 7 on a rota basis, including weekends, Bank Holidays and evenings.

About you…

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and motivational Deputy Estates Manager to manage our busy hub of activity within the
Housekeeping Team, Site Facilities and Security. In this pivotal role, you will have direct responsibility for overseeing
the day-to-day operations within your designated area. You will create a safe, clean, comfortable environment for the occupants of
Kelling Heath Holiday Park

What you’ll do…

Work closely with the Estates Manager and wider Estates Team to ensure the department operates efficiently.
Deputise in the absence of the Estates Manager and lead the whole department.

To be responsible for the compliance of all statutory Safety, Health and Environment legislation and implement working practices which minimise any risk to staff, contractors and customers.

Assist the Estates Manager in regularly reviewing and updating method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Lead your team to ensure they deliver the required service quality standards and meet fixed deadlines.

Establish, maintain and further develop professional and credible working relationships with all stakeholders, creating a positive, pro-active culture within the Estates Department and wider business.

Continue to develop a high performing team through recruiting and upskilling talent, ensuring your designated Estates team gain the appropriate training to fulfil their job roles.

Support and provide guidance to the team, ensuring you retain a skilled workforce.

Communicate key messages to the team about work plans and priorities.

Assist in the staff rota for the team ensuring there is adequate cover and take into consideration staff absences and planned activities.

Drive continuous service and quality improvement, whilst ensuring services are delivered in line with budget expectations.

Be a role model for the purpose and principles and setting the cultural tone of the team.

Support the productivity and efficiency of the Estates Department, ensuring tasks and responsibilities are performed to the agreed timescale and standards.

Ensure all customer facing areas and accommodation present the highest standards of quality and cleanliness at all times.

Visit guest accommodation to conduct regular quality audits; offer support and communicate with the team.

Support the Estates Manager to oversee and manage all sub-contracted work on Park, including hire fleet, facilities and privately owned Holiday Homes.

Oversee the operations of contractors ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are agreed and met within set timeframes, budgets and quality standards.

Contributing to the development of operating procedures to ensure we maintain standards of a 5-Star Holiday Park.

Management and implementation of CAFM Planned Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance system primarily for the soft services team.

Review and monitor security arrangements on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain appropriate to the business’ requirements.

Management of the day-to-day waste collections at Kelling Heath.

Tackling inefficiencies and driving continuous quality improvement.
