Why we need you…

The Forge and Terrace at Kelling Heath is looking for a Kitchen Porter who will play a key role in the smooth and safe running of the kitchen and delivery of a seamless service to our guests.

Whilst there will be more hours required during peak season this is not a 70 hour plus per week role, however, shifts will cover evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

What you’ll do…

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment BOH during the shift.
  • Manage the “pot wash” to ensure a continuous supply of clean crockery and utensils.
  • Manage safe disposal of food and other waste materials in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy and HACCP diary.
  • Assist the kitchen brigade and FOH team as required.
  • This is not an exhaustive list and as we are a small team you may be asked to assist with other responsibilities within our Food and Beverage department. At quieter times there may also be the opportunity to develop your culinary skills if this is an area of interest.

What you’ll bring…

No experience is required we just want you to have a desire to learn, pride in your work, willingness to work on your own initiative and be a team player.

Full training and uniform will be supplied.
