Maintenance Team Member – Kelling Heath Holiday Park

Salary: £26,585 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Contract of Employment
Hours: 37.5 hours, 5 days per week including weekends and bank holidays.  Duties and hours may vary dependent upon the areas you work and the time of year.

If you know your screwdrivers from your hammers, aren’t afraid to plunge straight in at the deep end and have a hands-on approach, this role is made for you. Predominantly based at Kelling Heath, on occasion you may be required to work at our site at Woodhill Park, East Runton.

You’ll be able to lend a hand with a wide variety of jobs, from decorating, carpentry and plant maintenance to ensure we maintain and improve our central facilities, hire fleet and owners’ holiday homes and lodges to an exceptional standard. Your hands on, ‘can do’ approach and passion for delivering an excellent standard will create a first-class impression with our guests and owners. You’ll be cool headed and calm in a crisis, practically minded to be on call if an emergency arises.

What you’ll do…

Carpentry tasks
Painting & Decorating
Minor plumbing repairs and installations
Completing Statutory Checks on site, such as the Fire Alarm and Emergency Light testing.
Ensuring all completed maintenance jobs are recorded on our company system with effective management of time taken, parts used and overall costs
Ensure that all jobs allocated are completed efficiently and always to a high standard.

This is not an exhaustive list, as we are a small team you may be asked to assist with other responsibilities.

What you’ll bring…

Experience:

  • Experience of or the ability to complete a variety of holiday park maintenance jobs to a high standard
  • Experience of safe systems of work, for example Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Experience of dealing with customers/guests.

Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Desirable: C&G Level 3 & NVQ Level 3, Trade qualification eg. Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Joinery, or other relevant trade
  • Full, clean Driving Licence
