24 hour run for charity

Once again, our Deputy Park Manager Andrew Shorthose has donned his running shoes for charity. Same place, same day, different challenge.

On 21st  June 2023, the longest day of the year, Andrew took on a mammoth 24 hour run on Park to raise money for the RNLI. Consisting of 4.1 mile loops, he completed 23 laps, running through the night into the early hours of the following morning. Fuelled by determination and good wishes from many guests, Holiday Homeowners and team members, some of whom joined him for a lap or two. Another fantastic amount raised this year of £1600, bringing his total to £3800 in support of the RNLI in the last two years.

It’s got us all wondering. What challenge will 2024 bring… ideas on a postcard perhaps!
