As 2016 Draws To A Close Lets Celebrate The New Year
As Kelling Heath closes its doors to holiday guests with the festive season approaching, our winterisation process begins
With the maintenance and housekeeping teams carrying out important behind-the-scenes work to keep our environment, facilities and lodges at their peak.
We’ve had a bumper autumn period with many happy guests on park embracing the cooler temperatures. Crisp walks, bright skies and wide open landscapes are perfect at any time of year, with the changing seasonal colours adding their own vibrancy and detail along the way. Winter is a quieter time.
We officially close for the letting holiday season today, whilst our holiday home owners can still access their properties until 2nd January. Our teams are now prepped and ready to tackle the big job that we call winterisation – the maintenance, upkeep and preservation of our beautiful park. Important tree felling work is carried out with the birds away from their nests and guests out of harm’s way. Wildlife surveys and observations are also carried out, with key jobs identified for our expert team.
It’s essential maintenance which is so important for the upkeep of our park – our unsung heroes! New Year’s Eve is not far away, and we too are joining in the celebrations with our lodges fully booked as we welcome in 2017. We are open every New Year’s Eve so keep an eye out if you fancy joining us next time – our lodges sell out quick!
Remember, our facilities including the Health and Fitness Club are still accessible over the winter period but for many, we’ll see you again in February when we open our doors on the 10th. It’s been a fantastic year and thank you to all of you who have made it so special.
From everyone at Kelling Heath, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
