Kelling Heath Holiday Park wins coveted customer service award
The popular north Norfolk destination, owned by Blue Sky Leisure, picked up the honour after scoring an incredible 96% when assessed by the national tourism body earlier this year.
Speaking after receiving the award during a ceremony at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, in Luton, Kelling’s operations manager Mark Durrant said: “Whether it’s investment in accommodation and facilities, or training for our staff, we do everything we can to make sure our guests enjoy the best possible customer experience, so it’s great for the team to be honoured in this way.”
The VisitEngland ROSE Awards showcase 100 of the country’s top locations where owners and employees go the extra mile to make their customers’ visits extra special. They cover all types of accommodation from hostels to hotels, self-catering to parks & campsites and from glamping sites to Bed & Breakfast (B&Bs) & guest houses.
Kelling’s award was presented by VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes, who said: “The ROSE Awards highlights those businesses who go above and beyond for their customers, providing the highest levels of customer service and ensuring repeat business, driving visitor growth and boosting local economies.”
The latest accolade comes just a month after Kelling received a Good Lighting Award from the British Astronomical Association’s Commission for Dark Skies.
