Morris Dancers Make Welcome Return
The 'Lobster Potties' Morris Dancers will be making a welcome return to Kelling Heath Holiday Park this summer dancing at the Folly in the Village Square.
The five dates are part of an extensive package that will feature acts ranging from jazz bands to shanty-men and will be performed in the open air in the unique setting of the Folly at the award winning holiday park.
The 'Lobster Potties' are no strangers to Kelling Heath having danced at the Folly during previous summers. Richard Gowen the parks Operation Manager said that regular visitors to Kelling would be delighted by news of the Lobster Potties return.
"The entertainment we provide for our guests at the Folly is unique and is an important part of the visitor experience. The Lobster Potties have been firm favourites at Kelling Heath in recent years and we are pleased to be able to advise guests of the dates they will be appearing well in advance"
The Lobster Potties will be appearing at the Folly on the following dates; - July 17th, 24th, 31st and August 7th, 14th. On the 24th July the Lobster Potties will be accompanied by 'Fiddlesticks' a ladies Morris Dancing side from Dereham who also dance in clogs.
The appearances by the Lobster Potties are part of a 29-date programme for the Folly starting on May 26th. Entertainment is then held every Saturday evening to the 21st July when the programme changes to the Sunday, Wednesday and Friday evenings of each week. The last performance is on Sunday 26th August.
