The ponds at Kelling Heath are now in full bloom and offer much for the wildlife enthusiast to admire.

The three ponds on site offer variety in terms of aquatic plants, inhabitants and surroundings.

The fishing pond is a particular joy with the backdrop of the railway and the tranquillity offered at that end of the site. The water quality here is fantastic and a look into the clear water will reveal fish, Swan mussels and numerous invertebrates.

The first kingfisher was spotted on the 17th July which was amazing.

With the summer break imminent we look forward to new wildlife sightings and another successful aquatic events season.
