Families met Father Christmas and raised £4,625 for East Anglian Air Ambulance as part of the Winter in the Woods weekend at Kelling Heath Holiday Park.
More than 650 people visited Santa’s grotto as part of the festive event, which also featured Elf Trail walks, carol singers and a Christmas market with plenty of mince pies and mulled wine. All proceeds from the weekend are being donated to East Anglian Air Ambulance, which was unveiled as the holiday park’s charity partner earlier this year.
Mark Durrant, Operations Manager at Kelling Heath Holiday Park said the event was a resounding success. He said:
“It was great to see so many people from the local community getting into the festive spirit and enjoying themselves. The money we raised is going to a great cause and we look forward to building on our relationship next year.”
Holly Lambert, Area Fundraising Manager at East Anglia Air Ambulance (Norfolk), said:
“We’re delighted with how the weekend went and want to thank everyone at Kelling Heath and all of our volunteers that helped make it a success. We hope that everyone had a great time visiting us. Thanks to their support we have raised more than enough to fund one of our life-saving missions, which is a wonderful result.”
