Activities at Kelling Heath

Low Ropes is a wonderful first step towards high rope activities, and the course provided is fantastic for those wanting to build their confidence. Participants will work in groups of three to walk along a steel wire rope that sits less than one metre from the ground

Moths are on the wing at all times of the year but more so when it’s calm and warmish. Surprisingly they will even fly in the rain. We are able to meet, talk and learn about moths whatever the conditions and it’s unusual not to see at least 1 or 2. On a perfect evening the results can be staggering.

A torch is useful to bring though not essential.

A circular walk to and around one of the ponds to collect materials followed by a crafting session under shelter. The exact route will depend on; conditions on the day and capabilities of participants.
